The lagoon of Bel Ombre is one of the few sheltered lagoons of the south coast, and one of the least visited. Boats from the beach (and the Bel Ombre hotels) take snorkellers out to coral patches inside the reef.

It's a good way to see the south's underwater side on a Bel Ombre day.
