Saint-Aubin is a handsome colonial house built in 1819, surrounded by sugarcane. Its small distillery produces agricultural rum; the tour includes the vanilla greenhouse (how vanilla is pollinated by hand), anthurium gardens and a rum tasting.
Lunch on the veranda is a classic Creole meal.
