La Varangue sur Morne is a hunting-lodge-style restaurant 600 m up on the Plaine Champagne road. From the veranda the view falls away to the lagoon and Le Morne. The cooking is refined Mauritian and French: venison, prawns, palm-heart salad, and Creole desserts.
