A big nature and adventure park 10 minutes from the villa: safari drives among zebras and giraffes, big cats, zip lines, canyoning and a quad or buggy tour.

Casela spreads across the slopes of the Rempart mountains above the west coast. The core park has a walk-through bird aviary, giant tortoises, a petting farm and big cats, and a safari truck through a savannah with zebras, rhinos, ostriches and giraffes (which you can feed).

Most of the fun is in the optional activities: zip lines over the canyon, quad biking, e-bikes, canyoning, and a 'Segway' or 4×4 safari. Very popular with families; plan half a day.

Tips

  • 💡 Some animal encounters raise welfare questions; the safari and zip lines are the best parts.
