Telfair Garden (Souillac)
A shady public garden on the cliffs of Souillac, under huge banyan and almond trees, with the waves of the south coast below.
The Jardin Telfair is a seaside park in Souillac, named after Charles Telfair, the naturalist who ran the Bel Ombre estate. Centuries-old banyans with curtains of aerial roots, almond trees and palms shade the lawns above the sea, a favourite picnic spot for local families.
