The trade winds blow steadily across the Le Morne lagoon for most of the year, making it one of the best kitesurfing spots on the planet. Inside the reef, the 'Kite Lagoon' is shallow and flat: ideal for lessons. On the reef, the famous 'One Eye' and 'Manawa' waves are for experts only.
Several IKO-certified schools offer taster sessions, private lessons and equipment rental.

- 🚕 Taxi from the villa: about Rs 650–850 one way per car (agree the price first; a return trip with waiting time is often negotiable).
