The lagoon between La Gaulette and Île aux Bénitiers is shallow and usually calm, making it one of the best kayak trips on the island. Rent a double kayak in La Gaulette (half or full day) or join a guided tour: paddle to the white limestone Crystal Rock, then land on Île aux Bénitiers's beach for a swim, with Le Morne Brabant as a backdrop.
A quieter, cheaper and more active alternative to the catamaran, 25 minutes from the villa.
