Emba Filao ('under the filao trees') is a big, friendly beach restaurant on Le Morne public beach, with tables in the sand in the shade of the casuarinas, right on the turquoise lagoon.
The kitchen does everything from grilled dorado and smoked marlin salad to Creole and Asian curries, grilled prawns, paninis and burgers. Perfect for lunch after the Le Morne hike or a beach morning.
