Le Morne public beach lies on the western side of the peninsula, between the luxury hotels. The water is shallow, clear and turquoise, with Le Morne Brabant rising behind you. It's one of the most beautiful public beaches in Mauritius, and only 25 minutes from the villa.
Further south, around the tip of the peninsula, is the famous Kite Lagoon, where the trade winds make it a world-class kitesurfing spot. The public beach itself is more sheltered and great for swimming and picnics.
