On the winding road from the coast up to Chamarel, a viewpoint opens onto the whole south-west: the green slopes of the plateau, the lagoon in every shade of blue, Île aux Bénitiers and Le Morne Brabant standing over its peninsula.

It takes five minutes, but it's one of the best views on the island, and it's on the way to everything in Chamarel.
