Mont Cocotte
A short climb to a summit (771 m) near Alexandra Falls, through pines and heath, with views over the south coast and the plateau.
Mont Cocotte is a small peak on the southern edge of the plateau, reached by a short but steep path from the Alexandra Falls area. The upper slopes are among the richest places for native plants on the island, part of a conservation area.
In 30–45 minutes you reach a summit with a view over the forest, the tea country and the south coast. Stay on the path and respect any closure signs.

Getting there

- 🚕 Taxi from the villa: about Rs 1,050–1,400 one way per car (agree the price first; a return trip with waiting time is often negotiable).
