Eureka is one of the finest colonial houses in Mauritius, a large wooden 'maison de maître' with a wide veranda, built in 1830 and full of antique furniture and maps. Behind it, a path goes down through the garden to the Ravin, a river gorge with a small waterfall where you can swim.

The table d'hôte lunch on the veranda is a classic Creole meal.
